Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our growing team of in-house optical professionals. In this role, you’ll rely on your optical prowess, friendly demeanor, and product expertise to create incredible customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license, or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator—able to explain prescription terminology to customers.
• Energetic, positive team player with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precise accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Set store up for success daily by following operational procedures.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including apprentices, and promote excellent service.
• Maintain store systems and inventory databases.
