Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will open, close, and help maintain store operations while mentoring opticians and retail advisors.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician (or has 2+ years of supervisor experience), energetic, and detail-oriented, capable of explaining prescription terminology and product options to customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator for customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Ensure store procedures are executed to Warby Parker standards.
• Lead and mentor Optical team including Apprentice Program.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and operations.
