Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our team of in-house optical professionals in a store setting. You will rely on your optical expertise, friendly demeanor, and product knowledge to create exceptional customer experiences, while acting as a keyholder to open/close the shop and support internal operations.

You will mentor the Optical team, drive store vision, and foster a positive, productive culture amid a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervision.
• Strong interest in eyewear retail and customer service.
• Clear, professional communicator who can explain prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants, and manage store operations.
