Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor in Madison, WI to lead our in-house optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work as a keyholder, open/close the store, and mentor a team of opticians and retail advisers.

You bring a license, ABO certification, 2+ years of experience with supervision, strong communication, eye for detail, and a passion for eyewear. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in required states with 2+ years' experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective, professional communicator who explains terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, able to juggle a wide range of responsibilities.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Not on LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Open/close store as keyholder and maintain operations.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including participation in Apprenticeship Program.
• Maintain store systems and inventory databases and foster a positive store culture.
