Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals in Leawood, KS. You will lead the optical team, assist customers with eyewear, and ensure quality standards for prescription fulfillment.

The role requires a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years of supervisory experience, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for great service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple duties in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical duties including fitting eyewear, taking measurements, and ensuring prescription accuracy.
• Set store up for daily success by executing operational, service, and staff zoning procedures to Warby Parker standards.
• Mentor optical staff, including apprentices, and exemplify excellent service.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and general operations.
• Foster a positive, productive team culture.
