EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to support patients’ medical needs while maximizing retail sales. You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, connecting patient needs to available goods and services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent
• Medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and provide medical support
• Determine patient needs and upsell frames and services
• Assist patients in selecting frames matching style and facial measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings and frames
• Take measurements: bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, vertex distance, PD, pantoscopic tilt
• Dispense orders and repair/adjust frames
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders per current process
