Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC, a leading nationwide optical care provider, seeks an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.

You will help patients choose frames, educate on lens options, and ensure accurate measurements and precise fittings in a busy clinical setting across locations. Prior medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred; ABO/NCLE certifications optional.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to interact with patients in a professional manner.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace Total Patient Experience to build relationships.
• Assist patients in frame selection by style and measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Collect measurements: bridge, eye size, PD, pantoscopic tilt.
• Dispense orders and repair/adjust frames.
• Dispense glasses and contacts per current process.
