Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group seeks a Doctor Technician to provide outstanding patient service as the first touchpoint and to support the Clinical services team in creating a smooth flow between clinical and retail operations.

You will greet patients, collect information, schedule appointments, assist with diagnostic pre-testing and digital refraction, and help maintain confidential patient records in line with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification in relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and a positive demeanor.
• Proactive with problem-solving and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Schedule flexibility; hours determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with team members to achieve store goals and clinical metrics.
• Greet patients entering the store and identify needs to provide information about products and services.
• Answer inquiries and gather information to ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and inform the status of orders; meet expectations.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Keep patient records confidential and secure per HIPAA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
