Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding customer service at our on-site store location. You will bridge the clinical services team with the retail team, assisting patients, answering questions, and supporting appointment scheduling while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

You should have an associate degree or higher and at least two years of customer service experience, with a positive, proactive attitude and interest in technology and optics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Strong communication with diverse groups; positive demeanor.
• Passion for customer satisfaction; proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing store needs.
• Flexible schedule; hours determined by business needs.
• Interest in technology and optical industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience; explain available products and services.
• Answer inquiries and gather information to ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and assist with patient communications.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and update on order status.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and ensure privacy.
• Support store goals and clinical metrics in collaboration with the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
