Job summary

Stanton Optical Brand is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to be the first touchpoint for patients at our on-site store location. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support clinical services, and help drive sales while partnering with the retail and clinical teams.

The role requires an associate degree or certification and 2+ years in customer service, with strong communication and empathy. On-site store environment with opportunities for professional growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
• Active listening, rapport-building, and patient empathy.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful teamwork.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers on entry, assess needs, promote available products and services, and collect information to facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; input patient history and perform pre-tests and tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Process simple repairs, frame lenses, and edge lenses to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and ensure accurate orders and delivery timelines.
• Adhere to brand standards and contribute to a positive store environment.
