Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the meaningful first touchpoint for patients in an on-site store location. You will deliver outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and ensure smooth transitions between our clinical services and retail teams.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, perform pre-tests, assist with repairs and lens edging, and maintain brand standards while delivering accurate orders on time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
• Active listening, ability to build rapport and empathize with patients.
• Problem-solving mindset to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful team relationships.
• Results-driven with multitasking and adaptability.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs, and promote products/services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments, enter patient information, and perform pre-tests and basic assessments.
• Assist management with patient issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with repairs and edge lenses to expedite delivery.
• Monitor lab quality and communicate equipment or order issues to management.
• Track delivery times to meet promised service targets and assist with additional duties.
