Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Customer Service/Doctor’s Technician to enhance the patient experience by acting as the first touchpoint in-store. The role supports smooth transitions between clinical services and retail teams while driving sales and promoting brand standards.

The ideal candidate has at least an associate degree or certification with 2+ years of customer service experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups; active listening and empathy.
• Proactive problem solving with patients or customers; ability to handle rebuttals.
• Collaborative mindset; build respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven, able to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers on entry, identify needs, promote products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and run nonclinical tests.
• Assist management with patient concerns and communicate job status to ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and assist with housekeeping as needed.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and order accuracy.
