Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician-style role focused on delivering outstanding customer service while supporting sales and coordinating between retail and clinical teams. The ideal candidate has at least an associate degree and 2+ years of patient-facing experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

In this on-site role, you’ll assist with examinations support, lens edging, and order fulfillment, while upholding brand standards and delivering a positive patient

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Strong communication with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport building, and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and adaptability in a team environment.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven with multitasking and flexibility in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers at the store entrance and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history; perform pre-tests and standard eye-care assessments.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping in the store and lab areas.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor equipment and notify management of malfunctions or ordering issues.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure 100% on-time promises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
