Job summary

Walman Optical in Denver, CO seeks a full-time Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk). You will build and maintain relationships with customers and labs, process price quotes, orders, changes, returns and POs, and coordinate with other departments to provide top-level service.

Primary duties include handling inquiries, maintaining rapport with customers, preparing returns and documentation, using a PC to manage customer and order data, and collaborating with vendors for timely order

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or call center environment.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build and maintain rapport with customers to provide the best possible service.
• Receive, sort, clean, and repack overstock and defective lenses, frames and accessories for vendor returns, generating proper documentation.
• Assist in assembly, packaging and mailing kit contents and maintaining customer lists for auto-ship programs.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, orders, and update orders with correct product data.
• Coordinate with vendors for order placement, status updates, and quotation follow-ups.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate company policies, promotions, and procedures clearly.
• Maintain neat, organized work area and comply with attendance and safety rules.
