Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, or call center experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to remain calm with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers and strive to provide the best possible service.
• Receive, sort, clean, and repack overstock and defective lenses and accessories for returns; document the process.
• Assist in assembling and labeling frames for monthly auto-kit mailings and maintain related lists.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and order status; ensure accurate data entry and filing.
• Coordinate with vendors on orders, status updates, quotes, and delivery information.
• Troubleshoot problems or questions from coworkers and customers.
• Explain policies, promotions and negotiate professionally while protecting privacy.
