Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in customer service, hospitality or call center.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to stay composed with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers and work to give them the best possible service.
• Handle returns and repackaging of lenses, frames, and accessories per vendor policies.
• Assist in assembly and packaging for monthly auto-kit mailings and manage related mailing lists.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and order details; update orders accurately.
• Coordinate with vendors on order status, quotations, and delivery information.
• Troubleshoot problems and communicate company policies and promotions effectively.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area; observe attendance and safety rules.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced coworkers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
