Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to build and maintain customer/vendor relationships and manage quotations, stock orders, returns and purchase orders. You will coordinate with multiple departments to provide superior service to customers.

Responsibilities include handling price quotations, orders and cancellations, maintaining customer lists for auto-ship mailings, and ensuring accurate order entry and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality or call center environments.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, changes, adjustments and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Maintain rapport with customers and deliver the best possible service.
• Handle receipt, sorting, cleaning, and repackaging of overstock/defective items for vendor returns.
