Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to manage quotes, orders, and vendor communications. You will assist in returns, packaging, and maintaining accurate customer records.

The role demands strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. As part of a large eyewear group, you will contribute to excellent patient service and support across departments, while upholding HIPAA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, or call center experience.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to stay composed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and numerical accuracy.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive price quotations, orders, order changes, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers to provide the best possible service.
• Sort, clean, and repack overstock/defective items for returns to vendors.
• Assist in assembly and packaging for monthly auto-kit mailings.
• Use a PC to access and update customer and order information.
• Coordinate with vendors about order status and quotations.
• Follow company policies and protect confidential information.
• Train and guide less experienced coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
