Job summary

Walman Optical in Rockford, IL is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to build and maintain customer and vendor relationships. Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality or call center environment
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure with difficult customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills and numerical accuracy
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs
• Build and maintain rapport with customers to provide the best possible service
• Process returns and manage stock orders, purchase orders and related documentation
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order status and customer satisfaction
