Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the in-house Optical team, coach Opticians, and consult customers to ensure confident eyewear choices. You will drive exceptional service, oversee training, and collaborate with store leadership to maintain standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer-focused problem solving, and maintaining rigorous optical quality in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to drive optical metrics.
• Professionalism and clear communication when explaining terms to customers.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take/record measurements and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Lead and develop a team of Opticians; provide feedback and coaching.
