Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and coach Opticians on the floor. You will guide customer experiences, ensure precise measurements and fit, and uphold optical standards with accuracy and care.

As a leader, you’ll mentor staff, drive service excellence, manage performance conversations, and collaborate with the Store Leader to meet staffing and operational goals while maintaining a culture of learning and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Minimum 2+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs, measurements and fittings with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Lead and develop the Opticians team on the floor and model best practices.
• Uphold service standards and implement programs to boost loyalty.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to plan staffing and oversee Apprentice Program.
• Maintain HR policies guidance and a safe, productive store culture.
• Support store systems, inventory, and daily operations.
