Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to manage our in-house Optical team, coaching Opticians and guiding on-floor service. You will lead by example, ensure accurate measurements and fittings, and explain prescription terminology to customers.

As a key leader, you will partner with the Store Leader to plan staffing, promote strong service standards, and oversee optical operations, all while fostering an engaging, customer-centric store culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states, or ABO-certified optician where not required by state law.
• Minimum 2+ years in a management role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Opticians on the sales floor and in-store operations.
• Record measurements, fit eyewear, ensure accuracy and adherence to optical standards.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to plan staffing and program initiatives.
• Uphold service standards and manage inventory and store systems.
