Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team. You will coach and develop Opticians, consult customers on eyewear, and ensure precise measurements and fitting. The role blends leadership with hands-on customer service to create exceptional experiences.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years in management, strong communication, and a passion for eyewear and retail excellence in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with management experience (2+ years).
• Strong leadership and mentorship with ability to drive optical metrics and uphold standards.
• Professional communicator who can explain prescription terminology clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Adjust and fit eyewear with precision and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and develop the Optician team, conduct development conversations.
• Support store operations, inventory, and HR-related processes.
