Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead and grow our in-house Optical team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure every pair of glasses meets our high optical standards and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate is licensed or ABO-certified, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, ready to drive exceptional service, accuracy, and team engagement on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state dispensing optician license or ABO certification.
• Minimum 2+ years in a management role leading optician teams.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the store Opticians to deliver exceptional eyewear consultations.
• Record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy and care.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Oversee staffing, perform development conversations, and promote a positive store culture.
• Support store operations, inventory, and HR policy adherence.
