VSP Vision in Ashland, KY is seeking a Retail Receptionist to greet customers, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain patient records under the Optometrist’s supervision. You will perform front desk tasks, handle payments, and support promotional activities while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a welcoming environment for every patient.

This role requires clear communication, accuracy in data entry, ability to work flexible shifts, and a teamwork mindset to support a busy eye care

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist customers
• Schedule appointments according to Resources Scheduling guidelines
• Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with preliminary testing under the Optometrist’s supervision
• Answer phone, check patients in/out, collect payments, and perform front desk tasks
• Call for insurance preauthorization and follow up on authorizations
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and provide information on promotions
