Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to seamlessly connect our clinical services with the retail team, delivering outstanding patient service and facilitating sales. You’ll coordinate eye-care workflows, greet patients, gather information, and support both front-of-store and lab activities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of customer service experience, strong communication, and a collaborative attitude, with a commitment to brand standards and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns or objections.
• Collaborative spirit with respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven with multi-tasking, prioritization, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule appointments and enter patient history and information in the system; perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and keep patients updated on status.
• Maintain brand standards and perform light housekeeping in the store and lab areas.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Notify management of equipment issues or order problems; monitor delivery times to patients.
