Job summary

National Vision seeks an experienced optical store leader to oversee the eyeglass department, drive sales goals, and ensure policy compliance. You will supervise Opticians and CL Sales staff, forecast staffing needs, and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, effective merchandising, and collaboration with management to achieve financial targets and maintain high service standards across locations.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an optician where required by state.
• ABO and NCLE certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Supervises and motivates Opticians and CL Sales associates and ensures day-to-day functions are completed.
• Forecasts staffing needs, participates in recruiting, and retains a high-caliber staff.
• Leads and coaches associates toward sales and customer service goals.
• Mentors Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
