Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead store operations in a fast-paced optical retail environment. You will oversee the eyeglass department, ensure quality service, and drive sales while maintaining compliance with company policies.

You will coach and manage optical staff, coordinate promotions, and work with senior leaders to forecast staffing and meet performance targets across locations. A strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Lead customer service excellence and ensure associates uphold standards.
• Review quality and remakes to enforce quality policies.
• Coordinate with management and corporate on store reporting.
• Ensure promotions and merchandising are executed across stores.
• Supervise opticians and sales staff; support staffing needs.
• Assist GM with staffing plans and staff retention.
• Motivate team to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary to meet licensing requirements in different locations.
