Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead store operations, coach eyeglass team members, and drive sales performance.

You will oversee the eyeglass department, ensure quality customer service, and align promotions with corporate guidelines. You will collaborate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office while focusing on staffing, training, and achieving financial targets.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience required or preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, for team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems of varying scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (e.g., review P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards, review remakes and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager and district/corporate offices; provide store reporting.
• Ensure store promotions and visual merchandising are in place and known by all staff and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; assist with day-to-day functions.
