Job summary

National Vision is seeking aStore Leader to drive optical sales, supervise associates, and manage daily operations with a focus on profitability and customer service. You will lead the eyeglass department, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with leadership to meet store goals.

You’ll review performance data, coach staff, and coordinate promotions, merchandising, and staffing. This role emphasizes growth, training, and delivering a positive customer experience while adhering to licensing

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales with leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to coach and develop associates and teams.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Understanding of store operations and performance metrics.
• Ability to read financial reports and improve results.
• Problem solving skills and attention to policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Convey commitment to outstanding customer service; ensure associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met; review remakes and enforce policies.
• Communicate with GM, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are in place; inform staff.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; oversee day-to-day tasks.
• Forecast staffing needs, recruit, select and retain high-caliber staff.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards and address licensing requirements where applicable.
