Job summary

National Vision's America’s Best brand seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department, coach staff, and drive sales. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing promotions, and ensuring policy compliance across operations.

You will collaborate with store leaders to forecast staffing, review financials, and motivate team members to exceed performance targets while maintaining high-quality service and associate relations.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) for effective management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey a commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure the team does the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards and policies.
• Provide store reporting to GM, DM and Corporate Office.
• Coordinate store promotions and visual merchandising across the team.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales staff.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts and hiring decisions.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• Ensure licensing requirements are met where applicable.
