Job summary

Stanton Optical, operating as Now Optics, seeks a Clinical Services Manager to lead the store team, ensuring clinical goals are met and operations run smoothly. You will often act as Manager on Duty to drive store performance and patient care excellence.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail management or clinical leadership, strong communication, and a passion for mentoring others; optical/clinical experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services.
• Drive sales to meet revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.
• Resolve issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor’s Technicians on diagnostic pre-testing, Local Mode, and Digital Refraction.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards and housekeeping.
• Coach Doctor Technicians on contact lens insertion/removal.
• Oversee contact lens orders and inventory weekly.
