Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and ensure clinical goals are met, with guidance from the Clinical Operations Department. You will often act as the Manager on Duty to drive store success in operations and sales.

You will coach Doctor Technicians, enforce training and safety standards, and maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records while delivering outstanding customer experiences. Integrity and teamwork are essential values at Stanton Optical.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the store and identify needs to provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales to exceed daily, weekly and monthly revenue goals while delivering exceptional service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians regarding Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, and Contact Lens care.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are executed per Physicians Eyecare Group requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Keep store brand standards and perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on proper contact lens insertion/removal.
• Oversee contact lens orders and diagnostic lens inventory weekly.
