Now Optics Stanton Optical Brand is hiring for a Doctor’s Technician-style role focused on delivering excellent customer service at the point of entry in our Stanton Optical retail locations in Abilene, TX. The role emphasizes smooth collaboration between the retail team and the clinical services group to provide a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher is required or you are enrolled in a comparable program.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Effective communication with diverse groups.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathy with patients/customers.
• Proactive problem solving to address concerns or objections.
• Collaborative spirit with team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and promote available products and services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; collect patient history and perform basic pre-tests and tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to expedite eyewear delivery and ensure on-time delivery.
• Notify management of equipment issues, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
• Monitor delivery times to patients to ensure 100% compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
