Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to be the meaningful first touchpoint at our stores, delivering outstanding customer service while facilitating sales and coordinating between clinical services and retail teams.

In this role you will greet patients, perform pre-tests, assist with vision care services, edge lenses, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time, with a strong emphasis on patient experience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school required
• 2+ years of outstanding customer service experience
• Effective communication with diverse audiences
• Active listening and rapport-building with patients
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns
• Collaborative spirit and strong teamwork
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services
• Schedule appointments and collect patient history for pre-tests and vision assessments
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders
• Maintain brand standards and assist with lab/vision care tasks as needed
• Edge and fit lenses, assemble frames, and ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and ensure order accuracy
