Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to support the shop management process and drive cost savings while aiding in customer retention across cross-functional teams including Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental.

The role emphasizes proactive customer management, cost control, and effective coordination to optimize performance, with relocation within the business unit upon training completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience is preferred.
• Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality customer interface and proactive customer management.
• Coordinate with Rental and Sales to optimize utilization and drive new business.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
• Ensure PM scheduling and vehicle status updates; support technician planning.
• Collaborate across Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
