Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a highly organized Surgical Coordinator to manage our ophthalmology surgical bookings and schedules in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role involves coordinating procedures, communicating with patients and surgeons, and ensuring accurate records.

Typical hours are up to 40 per week, 8 AM to 5 PM, with light travel. Candidates should have medical terminology knowledge, EMR proficiency, and excellent multitasking and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a healthcare setting, ideally surgical scheduling or coordination.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and surgical procedures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
