Refocus Eye Health is seeking a detail-oriented Surgical Coordinator to manage surgical bookings and schedules within a fast-paced ophthalmology practice.

You will coordinate procedures, communicate with patients and surgeons, and maintain accurate records while upholding HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality. The role emphasizes organization, multitasking, and professional composure under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a healthcare setting, ideally surgical scheduling or coordination.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and surgical procedures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned that contribute to the efficient and high quality performance of the medical practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
