Associated Retinal Consultants in Saint Clair Shores, MI is seeking an Ophthalmic Scribe / Technician to perform preliminary patient workups, scribe for physicians, and assist with examinations and treatments in a fast-paced ophthalmology clinic.

The role requires knowledge of retina terminology, proficiency with EMR, and excellent communication and typing skills. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, recording history, measuring vision and intraocular pressures, and supporting patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong typing speed and accurate data entry.
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for Physicians and perform preliminary work-up of patients.
• Prepare patients and rooms for treatments and minor procedures.
• Record medical/history information and measure vision; assist with examinations.
• Measure intraocular pressures and perform basic tests; maintain EMR entries.
• Instill eye drops and assist with procedures; keep rooms stocked and clean.
