Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to champion the Safety Above All Culture and oversee day-to-day package sortation with a dedicated staff. This role may manage administrative staff and ensure processes comply with FXG policies and regulations.

You will hire, coach and evaluate performance, lead daily planning meetings, and drive safety and quality improvements while addressing customer service issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate’s Degree in related area or 2+ years of college toward a degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations with assigned staff.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize and evaluate staff; manage performance and discipline as needed.
• Ensure safe and efficient package sortation; enforce FXG policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate goals and updates; facilitate presentations to groups.
• Support safety initiatives and administer company safety strategies and programs.
• Address customer service issues and escalate as appropriate; train new staff.
