Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks an Operations Supervisor to champion the Safety Above All culture and oversee day-to-day operations and staff. You will manage package handlers, administer staffing, and ensure compliance with FXG policies and regulations.

You will lead safety initiatives, coach employees, and drive performance through data reviews and regular planning meetings. The role requires strong leadership, training, and communication abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months supervisory or package handler experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to supervise and mentor a team.
• Ability to read, interpret and act on reports and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily staff meetings and communicate safety and productivity goals.
• Plan and direct day-to-day operations.
• Assign staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Coach, train, and evaluate staff performance; address concerns and enforce policies.
• Work with linehaul for trailer movement and operations.
• Mentor and develop junior supervisors and adapt to changing needs.
