Job summary

IHOP is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct the unit's daily activities and support the General Manager in achieving budgeted sales and profits.

You will build professional relationships with guests and IHOP staff, implement training programs, and ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards while maintaining adequate supplies and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and write in English; interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Valid Driver's License required for company business.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local marketing, guest service and HR objectives per SOP and operations plan.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees as defined by SOP.
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies and proper operation of equipment.
• Maintain safety and sanitation practices per SOP.
• Assist in completion of required reports and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
