Job summary

Target's Supply Chain Operations Internship is a paid 40 hr/week program to develop your operations leadership. As an Operations Intern, you’ll lead and support daily operations with a mentor and managers, gaining hands-on experience in a real facility.

You’ll learn to problem solve, motivate a team, and drive results while prioritizing safety and guest service. This internship offers extensive training and growth into future leadership roles within Target.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in school or related leadership activities may be required.
• Interest in retail supply chain and leadership development.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members to align daily priorities with business goals.
• Assist in setting shift goals and planning daily workload.
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity with standard processes.
• Support continuous improvement using CI methods to drive lean operations.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to resolve system issues and test WMS.
• Lead daily meetings and present plan attainment and learnings.
