Job summary

Target offers an Operations Internship within its Supply Chain Facilities that is a paid 40 hr./week program. You will gain hands-on experience leading a team, learning to motivate and influence others, and developing a deep understanding of Target’s supply chain operations.

A mentor will guide your development and help you grow into a leadership role. As an Operations Intern, you will participate in extensive training, lead department tasks, and learn CI methodologies to drive lean improvements

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and leadership roles.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within supply chain facilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the facilities floor with the team.
• Plan daily goals and organize shift plans to meet targets.
• Maintain high standards of quality and inventory accuracy through standardized processes.
• Track KPIs (safety, teamwork, quality, productivity) to drive improvements.
