Job summary

The Home Depot in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training to gain hands-on experience in store management. You will work with the Store Manager, ASMs and field teams to develop and implement strategies for sales and store profitability.

The program covers operations, customer service, safety, inventory, and back-office responsibilities with mentorship and leadership development over up to 6 weeks of training.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• At least 3 years of work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of retail store management including operations, customer service, sales and profitability, and company policies.
• Supervise customer service and associate engagement to ensure prompt resolution of concerns.
• Plan merchandise placement, signing and maintain stock integrity through inventory management; learn daily financial operations.
• Perform opening/closing MOD and other store-wide responsibilities; adhere to SOPs and safety policies.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by self and associates.
