Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across core store functions, including Customer Service, Receiving, Order Fulfillment, and Back Office operations.

During a training period up to 6 weeks, you will learn to lead by example, work with Store Manager and ASMs, and develop strategies to boost sales, service quality, and profitability while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two or more years of leadership experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of store management.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling and employee development.
• Support customer service, sales initiatives and store profitability.
• Learn SOPs and safety policies while overseeing daily operations.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and ASMs to drive performance.
