Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Lead who will join the store leadership team to drive profitability and efficiency. You will work across the floor, back of house, and with Operations and Visual Managers to delegate work, give feedback, and keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and running smoothly.

You will lead Operations Associates, focus on recruitment and development, and use performance tools to coach the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities with decision making.
• Values feedback, receptive to receiving feedback and eager to provide.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel with a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Aligns with and embodies ALO's Guiding Principles.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl and twist; safely use a ladder.
• Stand and move for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute inventory management processes effectively with a focus on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink.
• Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to elevate process or system gaps.
• Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
