Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate II to support operations facilities in a defined geographic area. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, support IT infrastructure, and assist in training new hires to maintain high service levels.

The role involves assisting customers across multiple sites, working with various technologies, and traveling locally to support operations. A strong customer-service mindset and hands-on hardware/software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
• Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
• Assisting in training new hires.
• Continuous learning of new technologies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
