Job summary

The Home Depot in Mishawaka, IN seeks an Operations Experience Manager to lead the Order Fulfillment team, drive SOP adherence, and perform MOD functions. This role ensures customer service excellence, accurate receiving and staging, and proactive safety practices on the sales floor.

You will coach associates, contribute to talent planning, and implement shrink action plans while maintaining store standards and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations and customer service leadership.
• Ability to train and coach associates on safety, SOPs, and company policies.
• Experience collaborating with store leadership on talent planning and performance management.

Responsibilities

• 30% - Customer Service / Experience - Model proper techniques, coach on the sales floor, oversee D93 Receiving and D94 Order Fulfillment to meet SLAs, audit orders for accuracy and quality.
• 30% - People - Talent Acquisition and Staffing: assist with recruiting, monitor staffing and attendance, drive engagement through training tools, document performance management.
• 15% - Safety - enforce hazmat SOPs, ensure safety training completion, guide use of PPE, maintain safe walkways and enforce safe lifting practices.
• 25% - Shared Manager on Duty - Opening & Closing Operations: perform opening/closing duties, lead daily priorities, conduct hand-off walks, ensure SOP-compliant checklists and safety inspections.
