Motek New York, part of Happy Corner Hospitality, is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee daily performance and ensure consistency across multiple locations. You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, set standards, and partner with senior leadership to drive growth.

The role requires strong financial acumen, logistics, and a hands-on leadership style to build a high-performing management bench, maintain compliance, and continually elevate guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in multi-unit or high-volume restaurant operations at director level.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong budgeting, P&L management, and cost control experience.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable across departments.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, and labor compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with prioritization.
• Strong communicator with strategic mindset and hands-on leadership.
• Bilingual proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure consistency in service and guest experience.
• Train and develop management team members.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of on-site teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
• Collaborate with ownership and leadership to drive initiatives and openings.
• Conduct daily floor walks to ensure cleanliness and smooth service flow.
• Handle guest concerns and escalations with timely resolution.
• Oversee scheduling and labor cost management on-site.
